My finished poster

These two pictures are the picture that i took and edited to put the eye inside the mouth.
The picture at the bottom is was i made and is my finale design.
And then we had to make the finale design into a poster that is advertising something for example i used lip gloss and eye makeup and i came up with a slogan and added some persuading words into the poster.

This is the safety later that we had to sign as a group to say that we wont do anything dangerous places or video anyone without permission first.

This is the logo that our group used for the video advert. Its a horse wearing a suit with his arm coming up towards the mouth.
It also says Horse master suits under it.

What are you selling?

We have decided as a group that we are selling a suit

What is your idea about?

We are producing a suit and to make it more unique and a bit freaky we are using a horse mask,

So we will start if off with actor placing the suit on in slow motion and at the end he’ll put the horse mask on and turn around and look at the camera. We could also use black and white effects. We can also use the green screen to add a better effect on the background. We are going to be using a voice over at the beginning and at the end. For example “Every man, Every horse…Should own this suit”

How many actors?

We are only going to be using 1 actor

Who are you aiming your advert at?

Young adults because the horse mask is funny and it persuades young adults to get a suit for themselves

First i went onto the internet and researched some freaky different new sorts of images, so i could get some different types of  ideas on what I could use/ create as my advert product.  

I wanted to join two different pictures to make them into one picture for example a dogs head on a fish’s body. I did a lot of research and I put my pictures on my blog that inspired me to make a certain picture. We learnt about a red head lamp that we used for lighting when we took our pictures. Also we had to make a set up to take the pictures on. We pinned white pieces of paper onto a board and a table so we had a white background. Also we used a light stand and we learnt how to put the stand up properly, also when we are finished taking the pictures and start to pack away. We left the red head lamp to one side while it cooled down so it wouldn’t smash or break, and packed up everything else while the lamp cooled down.  We also used a tripod for our cameras so our pictures would be nice and clear instead of burly witch will happen if we hold them with our hands and we shake.

For my product I took a picture and one of my class mate’s eye and mouth. I got an idea of the internet when I was researching to give me ideas on something freaky and new that I could possibly use in my advert. I decided to use a mouth and edit everything out of it, so then it just the lips and nothing around or inside of the lips and then, I edited the eye. So I made the eye smaller and winder so it could fit into the middle of the mouth. And then I edited my eye even more by painting the sides of the eye even more whiter so the brown bit of the eye would stand out and look better and also so you could tell that they is an eye in a mouth.                                                                                 

Advert

Today we made an poster advert on our video.

I used this background because in our video advert we use this as one of our backgrounds but close to the tree. I think this is a good background for my
advert because the filed suggested a place for the house but the other side is a building for the man under the mask in the smart suit. Also the person is putting his thumbs up at the camera to suggest he likes the suit and everything is good.
I took this picture of the place we used in our video of the same sort of area on my phone and then i got the picture of oskar in the suit and the horse mask, of the video that we shot with the mask on and the suit so he logo and the slogan makes sense so then i pursed the video in the place i want it to be, so i could place it on to my advert. And then i pressed crl alt, print screen on my key board so it would copy the picture i pursed it on. The i pasted it to word, and the copied and pasted it on to photo shop, so that would allow me to edit out all of the background and just keep the figure.
The slogan we all used as a group is 'Ride with pride'. My group can up with the slogan all together, we came up with this slogan because its a horse wearing a suit that you just ride like a horse, and show the suit of with pride.
Also the logo is at the bottom of the advert with a horse wearing a suit and the arm coming up the side. The writing at the side of the logo says the name of the suit which is, 'horse master suits'.

Video advert..

At the start out our lesson we had to sign a safety letter and check all of our paper work and just finish little things of, before we could go out and start to record our video. Then we started to make our video advert, my advert is selling a suit and to make it freaky we are using a house mask. We have called our product, master house suits, we have also came up with a slogan which is 'ride with pride' . We have used two different back grounds on our video, a backgrounds are trees and leaves and also a tall building with just roads.

We had an hour and half to make our advert, but our group had abit longer because we had to re shoot because we didn't like our shots or our background. So after break we switched our backgrounds and re shot all of our video.

Our group always used the tripod to keep our camera nice and steady so they wasn't any blury shots in our advert.
After we have made sure we have done all out footage, we are going to edit it all in together and make the advert look good and professional.

DAFONT research

Today we learnt how to print screen different sort of fonts of the internet onto photo shop. We used a website called Dafont download.
We picked three fonts that we liked of the website then clicked on the ones we liked, then changed the words to what we wanted it to say.
After we done that we pressed on the keyboard, ctrl, alt, delete, and then went into photo shop and went to edit, and then clicked onto past. After i did all of that we had to crop the background out and just keep the text.
So i used the rectangle marquee tool so that i could crop all of the unwanted background.
I like these three texts because they are all very different but not too freaky or weird, i like the middle one the best because i think its unique and also it matches what the words are saying.

Plans for our video advert

                          

This picture is showing you what my group planned to do for my advert..
As a group we have decided to advertise a suit and to make the advert abit freaky we have added a horse mask into it.
The name we came up with is 'Horse master suites'
I think that it is a good name because it relates with the theme of the advert.
We have also came up with a slogan to relate to the advert which is 'ride with pride'. To show of the suit and get the buyers interested we have decided to do different sort of poses in the suit in different places for example, the woods, the streets, inside.
We are going to add a voice over into the advert and also some background music, we are thinking about using some sort of jazz music but we are not to sure yet.

Research

Today we got put into a group of 4 for our video and filming group, our group is number 3. I got put with Oskar and also Kai and Taylor.
Oskars is going to bring in some weird masks and maybe a suit for our advert. He is also very comfortable with being in front of the camera, and also he is comfortable with dressing up to looks freaky and cool and also doing freaky weird things.
Kai is comfortable with Photoshop, so he likes to edit and photo shop different sort of pictures to make them looks freaky and cool.
Me, im going to bring into some makeup and maybe i can make my group look abit freaky. I have never done dress up makeup before but maybe if i have to ill try do as best as i can.

I like this advert because it is very unusual and weird, it is also abit freaky and gives you a good example of photo shop. On this video the mans face changes shape and angles.
Also at all times but product is also on show to the buyers, also it keeps the buyers interested.

This advert is good because it is very different and freaky, and also it keeps peoples attention onto the video because its different. Its freaky because the advert is selling ice cream and the man is covered in ice cream and is also eating the ice cream of himself.

I think this advert is good and weird because its different to all the other McDonald's adverts and it is also freaky. Personally i think this advert is really funny at the same time as being weird and the ending of the advert has a good twist to it so it keeps people to continue watching the advert.

Examples

This is the rule of thirds. Because they used the grids and placed the flower in the middle of the picture. Also this image is a shallow depth, because the flower is clear and close to the camera, but the background is burly and it fades away.

This picture is a symmetry and pattern. This is because the bubbles go in the same sort of pattern, and also the colour and the symmetry of the bubbles in the picture is going the same way.

This picture of the football field is a view point.
This picture is a view point  because somebody is taking the picture over somebody's head, and lifting the camera high so it looks like your looking down on it.

This picture is a example of the deep depth.
This photo is a deep depth because they is people in the middle and both of the sides so its called deep depth.

This is an example of framing. The fish is in the middle of something and the photographer and  zoomed into a little rock and make it look like a frame around the fish.

This image is an example of cropping.
Because the image was quite large the person cropped the image to make it smaller and also to get more of the detail into the image.










This image of the sharks is an example of balance and element. Because they is a main picture of the shark in the center but also many different little sharks and fishes in the background.

My photoshop

Today we made some ghostly images in photo shop. we search the backgrounds of google and copied and pasted it into photo shop and made the background bigger by clicking ctrl alt T.
Then we searched a picture of a person, i used a white background so its easier to remove the background because im not really that confident with using the lasso tool.
Then we clicked onto filter at the top of the photo shop page, and went to blur and went down and then clicked onto Gaussian blur. Then a little chart with something to pull up and down will come up and you can make it as blurry as you want. After i did that i clicked on something that is called opacity what was already on 100%, so i dragged the tool down abit so it would make the image kinda go see through so it looks ghostly

Today we learnt abit more about the video camera and what certain shots we can do on the camera.
Also we had ago with the tripods and learnt how to put them up and how to do different angles on it.
We learnt some of the different camera shots on the tripod, for example some of the shots we learnt about was called, panning, tilt, jib, steady cam and also moving paning shot  

We had to pick a company that was fake and bad for you and they kept it a secret.
This advert is for McDonald, the real advert is just the big M and it says under "im loving it" so im going to Photoshop the advert and add in NOT, and also the fattening in the middle of the M.

This is the finished edit of the McDonalds. I changed the M downside because i think it looks better like that because im changing it to show the bad side of McDonalds.

i think the backing music in this make up advert is good because the beat goes slow and then just drops in. So then it will get peoples attention to look at the advert because its a good drop into the advert and also it is a good beat.
The Tempo is slow and then goes quite fast. The key has different type of range used in the advert. The background music in the advert is major key because the beat it load and bouncy. It is also a non dietetic sound.

I think this advert is good because the backing movie is fun and its an happy sound and don't over sound the voices that are talking. Also they is talking in the advert telling you different facts about the company that are selling the sofas. For example the advert is saying, how the staff will help anybody find the perfect fabric for your sofa etc.
The tempo is not very fast its just at a normal past. The key of the song is just the same range it don't change. That background song for the advert is a major key becuase its a happy sound and quite bouncy. It is also a non dietetic sound.

I don't think this car advert is good. Because the background music don't have anything to do with the car its trying to advertise, also it don't really show the car it just shows two people and shows the car like once at the end. The tempo was calm but not slow also the range of the song didn't really change it stayed the same. The background music was a major key because it was quite a happy song.

Today we had ago on the cameras and we had a look in this book full of loads of different images and we had to pick 4 different pictures. As a group we had to take picture just like the 4 picture that we picked out, with good angles and lighting.
When we finished taking pictures we had to show the class our pictures and then the class would try guess what pictures we tried to copy.
i learnt in this listen what different part of the camera was and what them certain buttons do. For example if you look at the picture above it shows you all of the different parts of the camera, also labels joined onto certain buttons and etc to help us.

In my opinion this picture is suggesting that somebody is trapped behind there eyes and asking for help but can not escape. For example it might be suggesting depression.
This picture inspires me because its a cool picture showing many different feelings.

I think in my opinion this picture is showing a woman with two heads onto the same body, but i think that what the image is trying to express is that one person can have two very different sides to there personality.
This picture inspires me because it has people looking at it because its very different then what people normally see everyday, also it has a twist onto it and keep people thinking.

I like this picture because it reaches out to very many different types of people, different ages and also different genders.
This picture is showing a young girl with deep emotions, the picture shows the lady hiding behind a mask which is a fake smile, because she is unhappy and don't want no body to know so she hides behind a smile.
This inspires my advert because many girls can relate to an image like this and makes the readers look, and also makes them want to read about the picture.
This picture relates to many people that's what i like about it.

Today we learnt how to use the clone tool. For example we copy and pasted a certain picture, i used the cat, we holed the buttons windows and alt down on the keyboard and it came up with a little circle like a aim, i dragged the aim over to the corner of the cats eye and then right clicked on the mouse then let go of the buttons.
The i went onto the other layer and started to draw the eye onto the cats forehead. And then to get rid of all the unneeded outline and the messy bits, we used the eraser to make the eye on the forehead neat.
Also my cats eye in the middle was wonky so i pressed Ctrl T and it let me make the eye straight, also let me move it where i want the eye to be.



We also cloned on to a human person to make it a little harder and try make us get used to cloning different sort of things. So we cloned the eye and the mouth and the nose.

I thought this was quite hard to get the hang of had a little help of Owen, but when i got the hang of things and got to know what all the tools i needed to use was and how to work them its quite fun and easy.

 Monday 14th September.
We got given three cards that had words on the back to make up something that we have to advertise. for example we had a card says young boy and one saying newspaper and also one saying drink. So we had to put them three words into some sort of advertising that all matched up and made sense.
So as you can see in the picture above we made a newspaper because that was one of our words we had, and we came up with and energy drink for athletic boys which included all of our words put together. 
we came up with the name flash sports. We also came up with a slogan for our drink which was 'Energy in the flash' we also added alot of different details about our drink into the poster.
For example we put the price of the drink also where you can buy the drink, what the drink has init,
what flavours the drink came in also how the drink gives you energy.
